Everything you need to know about SOLVIVE.
SOLVIVE is an on-chain gaming platform built on Solana. It currently has two games: Up & Down — predict whether Bitcoin's price will go up or down in 2.5-minute rounds and win from the pool — and Jackpot, a provably-fair pot game where everyone deposits into one shared pot each round and a single winner is drawn on-chain. All logic runs through smart contracts — transparent, fast, and verifiable.
Connect any Solana wallet (Phantom, Backpack, Solflare), choose a username, and you're in. No sign-up forms, no KYC, no email required. Your SOL stays in your wallet until you place a prediction.
There's no entry fee or subscription. You only spend SOL when you place a prediction. A small platform fee is deducted from the total winning pool at round resolution — it's displayed clearly before you participate.
Currently, SOLVIVE supports Bitcoin (BTC) price predictions. We plan to add ETH, SOL, and other assets in future updates.
Each round lasts exactly 2.5 minutes (150 seconds). Rounds run continuously, 24/7 — as soon as one ends, the next one begins.
You can place your prediction anytime during the first 90 seconds of a round (the betting window). The last 60 seconds are locked — no more predictions accepted. During this lock phase the target price is revealed and the real sweat begins.
When the betting window closes (90 seconds in), the target price is captured from the Pyth Network oracle and revealed on the chart. You can't see the target while you're betting — you're predicting whether BTC will end up above or below wherever it lands at the lock moment. At the end of the 2.5 minutes, a final price is fetched and compared to the target. If the price went up, the UP side wins. If it went down, the DOWN side wins.
Because seeing a clear $50 move during betting would tell you the answer — kill the game. The target is captured at the lock moment instead, so everyone in the round starts from the same line. Then it's pure 60-second momentum: where will BTC end up, above or below the lock price?
Winners split the entire pool (both UP and DOWN sides combined) proportionally based on their prediction size, after the platform fee is deducted. The fewer people on your side, the bigger your potential payout. The tug of war bar on the game screen shows you the live multiplier for each side.
If the final price equals the target price exactly (extremely rare), it's considered a tie and the house wins. All bets go to the platform. This is an edge case that almost never happens due to the precision of BTC price data.
No. Once your SOL is committed to a round, it cannot be withdrawn or reversed. Blockchain transactions are final. Make sure you're confident before confirming.
Jackpot is a provably-fair pot game. Each round, players deposit SOL into one shared pot, and when the timer ends a single winner is drawn on-chain and receives 95% of the pot. There's no house bankroll at risk — the prize is simply the players' pot, minus a small fee.
Your win chance is your deposit divided by the total pot. Deposit 0.1 SOL into a 1 SOL pot and you have a 10% shot at the whole thing. Odds update live as new players join and as you add more — the more you put in relative to everyone else, the better your chance.
The betting window is 60 seconds, and it starts the moment a second player joins — so a real contest always forms before the clock runs. You can keep depositing right up until it hits zero. When it ends, the winner is drawn and the round resets.
Provably fair. Before betting opens, the server commits to a secret seed by publishing its hash. The winner is then decided by that seed combined with the hash of a future Solana block — randomness nobody can predict or control, and the block is locked in before anyone bets so it can't be ground. In short: ticket = sha256(serverSeed ‖ blockHash ‖ roundId) mod pot, and the winner is whoever's cumulative deposit range contains that ticket. The draw runs inside the Solana program itself, so not even the operator can pick the winner.
The house fee is 5%, so the winner takes home 95% of the pot. Payout is sent directly to the winner's wallet the instant the round settles on-chain — there's no claim step.
Yes. You can deposit as many times as you like during the betting window. Each deposit adds to your total stake and increases your share of the pot, so your odds go up with every add.
After each draw the server seed is revealed. Open any settled round and use the in-app Verify tool — enter the round id and it recomputes the winning ticket from the on-chain seed and block hash, showing it matches the chain. You can also recompute it yourself with the published formula, and the settlement transaction is viewable on any Solana explorer.
Multiple players per round. Because every participant is settled in a single on-chain transaction, there's a practical ceiling of a few dozen players per pot for now — plenty for the current scale, with room to expand later.
A round needs at least two players to start the countdown. If a round never arms or is cancelled, no winner is drawn and deposits can be refunded — your SOL is never stuck.
Your SOL stays in your personal wallet at all times until you place a prediction. Winnings are sent straight back to your wallet automatically. SOLVIVE never holds or custodies your funds.
Any Solana-compatible wallet works — Phantom, Backpack, Solflare, and many more. We use Privy for wallet connection, which supports a wide range of Solana wallets.
The minimum is 0.01 SOL. There is no maximum — you can predict with as much as you want.
Yes. Payouts are processed automatically by the smart contract the moment a round resolves. Your winnings appear in your wallet within seconds.
No. There is no separate platform balance or deposit system. You predict directly from your connected wallet and winnings go directly back to it.
All price data comes from Pyth Network, one of the most trusted decentralized oracle providers in DeFi. Pyth aggregates real-time price data from major exchanges and market makers. SOLVIVE does not set, control, or influence prices in any way.
No. All round logic — from recording the target price, to accepting predictions, to resolving outcomes and distributing payouts — runs entirely through a Solana smart contract. No one at SOLVIVE can change the result of a round after it starts. Every transaction is verifiable on-chain.
A small percentage is taken from the total pool at round resolution to fund ongoing development and infrastructure. The exact fee is displayed on the game interface before you place any prediction. There are no hidden fees.
Yes. Because all round logic executes on-chain through a Solana smart contract, and price data comes from a decentralized oracle (Pyth Network), every round outcome is independently verifiable. You can inspect any round's transactions directly on the Solana blockchain.
XP (experience points) are earned by participating in rounds on SOLVIVE. The more rounds you play, the more XP you accumulate. XP is tracked on your profile and determines your level.
Higher levels unlock features like the in-game chat and give you a visible rank on the leaderboard. Your level badge appears next to your name across the platform — in chat, on the leaderboard, and in the prediction feed.
Yes. You earn XP for every round you participate in, regardless of the outcome. XP is a measure of activity, not performance.
